About Us

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service.”

- Heather and Jeremy Waller

Picoso’s is committed to meaningful investments in our staff. By valuing all team members equally, we have built a strong work culture where each person is recognized for bringing unique skills and benefits to our restaurant. We have a passion to help others—like you! — grow in all areas of life, personally and professionally.

About Our Owners

Owners Heather and Jeremy Waller grew up in the restaurant industry, and their passion for hospitality and service is evident from the moment you meet them.

Growing up in the Leal’s family business, Heather has countless memories of working alongside her family as a young girl. Food and hospitality helped define her understanding of what it means to truly care for others.

For more than 20 years, Heather and Jeremy have owned and operated Leal’s Mexican Restaurant in Plainview. In 2014, they purchased the Fieldhouse Sandwich Shop, a Plainview staple for over 34 years.

Since opening Picoso’s Mexican Kitchen in 2018, Heather and Jeremy have kept their commitment not to take any of the profits from Picoso’s by giving back 100% to the community and their employees.

Serving more than just food, Picoso’s offers help for their employees through their PMK (Picoso’s Mexican Kitchen) University program, offering several classes to its staff to help them in their daily lives, including parenting, marriage, personal finance classes, and many more. “I’ve never worked anywhere where they had that kind of support just for the employees,” Justin Lowrey said.

Additionally, they implemented a monthly “Community Spotlight” where a portion of proceeds from highlighted menu items go toward a local non-profit. “This donation thrills us! It is going toward a medical van to help me transport Joseph. It’s a blessing that we live in this community. People don’t even know us, but they are helping.” recipient Raven Fristoe with Joseph’s Journey said.

Above all else, Heather and Jeremy care deeply about the people around them and have dedicated themselves to being a positive fixture in their lives. At Picoso’s Mexican Kitchen, you’re family.
